Grows on rich dryish limestone soils in full sun to 750 meters. Does not like
windy sites. Narrow leaf varieties grown from seed in late spring. Broad leaf does not flower in cool regions and cannot be raised from seed. Use cuttings taken in late spring or early summer. Replace every 4-7 years. |
