Shepherds Purse Cautions

   Contraindications:

"(Staghorn) uric-acid stones in the pelvis of the kidneys may be partially dislodged

   and irritate the ureters; the effects of the vasoconstriction may aggravate labile

   hypertension in some individuals, particulary the aged;

   not for use in overt kidney disease; may stimulate uterine contractions if used
