Location:

  
Descriptions of where on the terrian the botanical grows.

                                  
Ridge    Slope,     Valley

  
Ridge:   Botanicals growing in exposed, windy, rocky and possibly
                    elevated or cold enviroments .

  
Slope:   Those botanicals favoring elevation above the valley floor,
                    preferring well drained, and varied sun exposure from more light
                    on south slopes to less light on north slopes.


  
Valley:   Including mountainous stream banks, rolling plains, old raised
                    ocean shelfs, mesas, lower alluvial deposits, lakes, ponds, rivers
                    and streams :

                      All those botanicals which need full sun, deep soils, moderate to
                    heavy water requirments, or exist in the low alluvial deposits and
                    dried lake borders of our eastern dryer regions.
