Facing Slope:          Listing of botanicals based on the face of the slope they grow on.    North   facing slope, with rich moist soils, less light,and generally taller                 botanicals dominating the vegetaion.    South   facing slopes with thin top soils, higher summer temperatures                  and less summer moisture.
