Caution:

"Like its relatives Angelica and Osha, Cow Parsnip contains sufficient sterols

    and saponins to make it inadvisable to use it during a deliciate pregnancy." Ref. C p.68

   "Percutaneous photosensitization (blisters and possibly permanent purple

    pigmentation) may follow ingestion or handling of juice with subsequent

    exposure to sunlight." Ref. D p.201
