Corydalis Cautions |
Caution: "It is not recommended in larger doses since it may cause these very same symptoms." Ref. C p.65 see below, "This species, the most common in the West, contains at least ten alkaloids, including corydaline, corypalmine, and protopine, but may or may not contain bulbocapnine, the only alkaloid from the two generas presently used in medicine. What all this means is that one-half teaspoon of the plant combined with a more specific herbal sedative such as Skullcap or Valerian will aid nervousness or hysteria that is manifest through trembling, shaking, twitching, or tics."
