A succulent monocotyledon with a bloom time of 10 years or more! Grows
from 2,000 to 7,000' on mesa sides, limestone slopes, and bajadas. Especially common in lower, cooler canyons; the lower and hotter the area , the more protection it needs.! Propagate from seed or suckers. |
